Upcurve

Privacy Policy

Upcurve is built to keep your data where it belongs — on your device. There are no accounts, no servers of ours, and no tracking. This policy explains exactly what that means.

The short version

Upcurve does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information. Everything you log stays on your iPhone. We have no servers that receive your data, and we have no way to see it.

Data you enter

The habits, goals, amounts, timers, and notes you record are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database. This information never leaves your device through Upcurve, and we never receive a copy of it.

Apple Health (HealthKit)

If you choose to connect a habit to Apple Health, Upcurve may, with your explicit permission:

• Read step counts, water intake, and workout data, so your progress charts can reflect activity you've already recorded elsewhere.
• Write water intake you log in Upcurve back to Apple Health, so your health data stays consistent across apps.

This data is read live from Apple Health when you view it and is not copied to any server. Health data accessed through HealthKit is never transmitted off your device by Upcurve, is never used for advertising or marketing, and is never shared with any third party. You can review or revoke these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app, under Privacy & Security → Health.

Analytics and tracking

Upcurve contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no tracking technologies. We do not use cookies, device identifiers, or any third-party services that would profile you. We do not build a profile of you, because we receive no data to build one from.

Purchases

Upcurve offers a one-time in-app purchase (Upcurve Pro) processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the transaction and your payment details; we never see your payment information. Any data related to your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Your data, your control

Because everything lives on your device, you are always in control:

• You can export your data at any time from Settings → Export (JSON).
• Deleting a habit deletes its history. Deleting the app deletes everything Upcurve stored on your device.
• Data Upcurve wrote to Apple Health is managed in the Health app and can be deleted there.

iCloud

If a future version adds iCloud sync, your data will be stored in your own private iCloud account, encrypted and managed by Apple — not accessible to us. This page will be updated before any such change ships.

Children

Upcurve is not directed at children under 13, and because we collect no data, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Because Upcurve doesn't collect your contact information, we can't email you about changes — this page is the single source of truth.
